How do you create the virtual CD content?
I need to have a virtual CD which will contain a bootable application which is attachable to any of the many machines I have created. I have the CD but cannot find the instructions how to copy this to a Virtual CD.

Re: How do you create the virtual CD content
Use a burning application and make a iso from the cd.
Btw, this has nothing to do with vbox.

Re: How do you create the virtual CD content
I now have an image file with the .iso extension. Where do I put it to be available to be used by my VMs?
Re: How do you create the virtual CD content
Add it to the media manager, then you can select it for any VM.

Re: How do you create the virtual CD content
According to the manual Open the Virtual Media Manager and click the Add button. When I do this there is no Add button.vbox4me2 wrote:Add it to the media manager, then you can select it for any VM.
So how do you add an .ISO file to the media manager?

Re: How do you create the virtual CD content
In version 4.0.* the media manager is not used for much, and the add *button* is no longer there. Once you attach it to a guest in the storage section it will appear in the media manage and be able to be used by any other guest.
