usb and network problem on tinyxp

I have installed tinyxp on VB. installed guest additions. But I can't get the usb and the network to work. So I can't see usb drives and I can't get to the internet. So is their something I need to do to gt it to work. I have had success before. But it's been a while so I don't remember.
