Does it work on Firefox or IE8? Yes: it's an IE9 problem, kick MS. No? Then look for codecs and such. Maybe the output is wrong?

There are of course other possibilities.Sasquatch wrote:Does it work on Firefox or IE8? Yes: it's an IE9 problem, kick MS. No? Then look for codecs and such. Maybe the output is wrong?
For example the video driver in Vbox 4.0.4 is not up to displaying IE9 graphics.
I am not about to instal IE9 in my main machine without prior testing and thought Vbox might be a useful method.
Perhaps I was wrong!
I was trying to elicit help from other Vbox users who might have installed IE9 and found the same result.

Re: IE9 Videos do not display content only sound
Well, IE9 does use 'hardware' acceleration in which it will use the graphics card to draw things. I just happen to have IE9 installed on one of my W7 VMs too, so who knows. It does have 3D enabled, if you have that too and I have the same result, we know that's the cause. Your Host won't have a problem with it, I'm sure about that.
