Linux Mint 10 guest Visual Problems

I currently have Linux Mint 10 installed as a guest and Ubuntu 10.10 installed as a guest. I have a dual monitor setup, and I like to run a virtual machine on one screen, and my Win7 host on the other, and click back and forth to work on different things. Both installations work fine but for some reason the Linux Mint 10 screen will go completely black if I click away onto the Win7 screen, and the only way to get video back is to randomly click on the Linux Mint side until I find a window or something and drag it everywhere across the screen. This does not happen at all with ubuntu 10.10

Both have vbox guest additions 4.0.4 installed. Is anyone else having this problem?
