I have both xp and win 7 working as guests on linux. Neither one let me enable d3d when in the setup of the respective os's setup configuration of Virtualbox. I have super 3d3 video card and woks fine in Linux, what's the deal? I installed guestadditions in both of them from safe mode. Made no difference. When I check dxdiag in both versions of windows both say direct3d not enabled. Any ideas? the only reason I installed tis is for a 3nec2 antenna generator, without the d3d I can't use it. I just don't want to dual boot every time I want to use the program. And wine don't handle the 3d either.
Thanks
no direct3d in either win 7 or xp

Did you install the extension pack on the Host?
