Having several running session of one VM -- Feature request

Hi Devs (I don't know if it is the right place to post -- feel free to move)
I developed a tools that allow creating a clone machine (or many) from any snapshot and run it, using differencing disk and no-disk appliance.
In brief, it does remove all HD from mutable snapshot-VM, create the appliance, discard the changes, then import appliance as many time as desired and attach differential disks to it. It work like a charm and I have many exact clones running at the same time.
So I wonder where is the limitation to have it running directly from the VBox manager ?
Feature (the one I thought about) would be : Browsing snapshot tree and start VM from anywhere (no more "restore"), then restart (from the same place or from another snapshot) in a new session the exact same VM ?
Memory file locking would be simply session-id dependent instead of VM id.
