Photoshop performance on Win7 guest

I'm looking at trying to run Photoshop CS5 and Lightroom 3 in a Windows 7 guest. However, I'm not sure how much of a performance hit I'll take by doing it this way instead of bare metal. For those of you who've done this, what were the results? In particular, were the limitations on graphics (no WDDM, yet, and thus no DirectX 10 or 11) a problem? Was disk I/O sufficient? Any advice or feedback are greatly appreciated!

(The host will be Arch Linux, and I'll be using the latest release of VirtualBox.)
