What do you think could we say if we have no infos about your configuration?

Whats the hardware, the guest configuration and what are the guests doing?

everything just moving the mouse pointer is slow and to open a menu takes forever.

What you can try: play with the settings. Enable/Disable IOAPIC, VT.

In the guest settings. Mark the machine in the VBOX GUI and call the change function. Look under the system tab.

the autorun feature of guest addition do not work in fedora, as you need to bee root to run the script.

open a console, switch to root, run the install script.
