Failed to remove the shared folder - bug?

Scenario:
I have a shared folder which the guest is using.
I want to add another mapping by clicking "Add Shared Folder" in the dialog and it fails because it attempts to remove an existing share first. It didn't use to do it in v3 as far as I can recall. It's quite annoying. Am I doing something incorrectly?
