I'm running a Windows 7 x64 client on Mac OS X 10.6.6 with Virtual Box 4.0.4
Previously I had sound working fine on my Windows client.
After updating to Virtualbox 4.0.4 I have lost my audio.
I've found several posts that indicates that I need to change from the AC97 driver the Intel HD Audio driver which I did.
Windows says my driver is installed, up to date and working properly, but I have no sound.
Any help and / or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Did you also remove the old driver? And check your volume levels, one of them may be muted or on 0.
