Hello!
I'm a new user of VirtualBox, and I just installed an Ubuntu (Mint) virtual machine on my MacBook (running 10.6). It's working OK, but not quite in the way I'm hoping for, so I thought I'd ask for some advice.
What I'd like to do is make the virtual machine run kind of like I'd created a dual boot system--in the sense that, when I'm running Mint I'd like to devote all of my modest 2.1 GHz to it, and have it running as the full screen. Is that possible to do with VirtualBox?
Thank you!

You can't have your cake and eat it too. If you want dual boot, use dual boot (and lose the flexibility af having both systems running at the same time). You can certainly run in full screen, but the host OS is still running. If you starve the host of resources the whole thing will hang or crash. VirtualBox is an application running on the host OS.

Since you're new to virtualisation, it's advised you read the User Manual and the VirtualBox FAQ to get yourself more familiar with the concept. The FAQ also has some external links that describe virtual machines some more.
