Using Mstsc in guest

Post by racing240 »

I am using windows 7 ultimate as my host operating system and windows xp as my guest operating system.
I am using wifi to connect to the internet and my guest operating system is able to connect to the internet through my wifi device.

I wanna use mstsc in my guest operating system to connect to other system in the network. But I am receiving an error saying, "The Client could not establish a connection..."

Is there anyway to access a remote desktop over the network.

I am able to access remote desktop from host computer and also i am able to access remote desktop of my guest machine from my host machine..

Is There Any Solution to this....????

Thanks in advance...!!!!

So the other system in your network has Remote Desktop enabled and allowed in it's firewall? Can the Guest access the other machine in different ways, like network shares or ping? What is the network setting of the Guest?
