Sorry, memtest gives me "Segmentation Fault" even though I compiled it just fine... Do you know any other program that I could run in Linux ?

btw I don't think it's memory issue since this is a brand new pc that I got at my office, and also I ran this iso in another pc like 3 weeks ago using an old version of virtualbox

Almost any Linux install CD has memtest.
Try a Ubuntu Live CD if Slackware does not.

I couldn't find the way to run memtest from Ubuntu 10.10 Live cd so I ran it using a hirenboot cd.

There were no errors reported from the test, all passed

Since the host memory passed and the guest memory failed I would post a ticket at bugtracker
