Hi.

I got serious problems when I try to Install mi Nvidia GT220 graphic card on Ubuntu's VM.

My host is on Windows XP sp3 and the Guest Aditions DON'T WORK because the Drivers are uncompatibles (Windows to Unix).

So, I need a technical support (or something else) to improve the 4.0.4 version of VirtualBox to provide to de Virtual Machine the "internal cards" suport...

Tengo graves problemas cuando trato de instalar mi tarjeta de video Nvidia GT220 en la Máquina Virtual con Ubuntu 10.10.

Mi host tiene Windows XP sp3 y usar el Guest Aditions no es viable, pues, los drivers bajo Windows no son compatibles (para nada) con Ubuntu.

Por esta razón es que necesito de soporte técnico al respecto (o cualquier otra cosa) que me permita hacer que mi versión de VirtualBox pueda RECONOCER las tarjetas internas (PCI-e en mi caso...)

You can not install video drivers in the guest. VirtualBox needs to use its own driver.
Install the guest additions (in the guest) Instead.
First you need a few packages to be able to install the guest additions in the Ubuntu guest. In a terminal run the following command: Then in the device tab at the top left select Install guest additions.
Open nautilus and click on the CD. It should open and ask if you want to autorun, say yes.
Reboot when the install is over. Then you use the mouse click drag to change the screen size or the host+F toggle to go in and out of full screen.

Also while in the main VirtualBox manager if you press F1 the users manual will pop-up so you can read how to do everything in VirtualBox.
