Any Tutorial on setting up an LPT1 in Guest?

Need help in setting up LPT1 printer (HP9800) in Win XP Guest. My host is Vista. Can't find anything helpful searching this forum. All appropriate drivers are installed in VB for printer but seems no way to setup LPT1 in VB. Printer works fine in host.

VirtualBox doesn't implement LPT support on Windows hosts. Even if it did, it would steal the printer from the host (an LPT port can't be directly shared between two running operating systems). The way to get a printer working is to let the host control it, and share access over a virtual network (google for "printer sharing", for example I found
this page, which talks about XP but is probably a decent guide for other Windows versions too).
