We have a VM with an immutable disk, so that when that guest OS gets shut down the changes made are thrown away.
I'm wondering if there's a setting change I can make so that the differences are thrown away with a restart of the guest OS. I can't keep having to go in and restart a VM when a user shuts it down. I would rather have them to a "restart" and have it clean itself up automatically.
Thanks,
Z.

Re: How to delete differencing data
I suspect that suitable batch files using Vboxmanage could do that for you...

I don't have the first idea what to look for during the reboot. Any ideas?
