It probably means that you have XP mode installed and you can not have (2) 64-bit hypervisors running at the same time.
Or hardware virtualization is locked off in the bios.

I am running windows 7 premium, so I don't have an XP mode. Hardware virt in bios is aok. Virtualbox used to work just fine. Downloaded the newest version and now the error. I can't say if the error occured earlier, since I hadn't run virtualbox for awhile. I included the screen display for the error in more detail

The error message is fairly clear in that VirtualBox sees you have hardware virt enabled CPU but for some reason it is locked and can not use it. Usually it is due to another hardware virt program like XP mode, VMware, Xen, Etc. but can also be due to bios that has it locked. Usually a BIOS update fixes this as some manufactures locked this by default and have only within the last year started allowing it to be unlocked. Why it worked before and not now I can not say. I do know that until whatever has it locked is fixed VBox will not be able to use it. What version of VirtualBox did you upgrade from and what is the exact version you are using now?
