Error when trying to install Virtualbox

I downloaded Virtualbox because I heard so many good things about it, and I want to use it to lab my MCSA certification studies. However, when I clicked the .exe file to install in on my Windows 7 computer, it extracts to about 90% then gives me the following error:

Not enough storage is available to process this command.

I don't know why storage is an issue, as the software is far less than 1 GB and I have over 50 GB available on this laptop. It's also the only computer I have available to use. I've googled this issue extensively with no resolution, and there were only guesses to the problem in another tech forum, but no solutions.

Unless I can get this installed correctly, I'll have to not only abandon Virtualbox, but quite possibly my MCSA studies as well, since I can't pursue a certification without being able to lab. (I have other installation issues withe VMware, which I don't care to go into at this time).

Any suggestions out there?

Try msi extraction tools and run the install files with debug mode (msexec). Then browse true the logfiles.

Well..... I've never heard of msi extraction tools, nor would I know what to look for in the logfiles.

You're gonna have to dumb that down for me, if you please. You're assuming I know a whole lot more about the software guts of a computer than I actually do. I just want to successfully install this software program.

Unfortunately this is really a Windows problem, not a VirtualBox problem. If VirtualBox will not install, it is probably a problem with the Microsoft installer (unless it is a corrupt download). For that reason you would be well advised to post in a Windows 7 forum.
