Installing Ubuntu on Windows without a live CD
Is it possible to install Ubuntu on Windows without a live CD using VirtualBox?

You have to have something to install. Either a Live CD or the alternate installer.

Which alternate installer are you referring to? I think it would be great if I could install Ubuntu on Virtualbox without burning a CD.

You don't need to burn a CD. Just select the ISO file instead of the CD/DVD drive when asked what to use.
