Odd Logon Problem Post Active Directory

RESOLVED: not related to VB. It was a problem with the AD.

VB ver: 4.0.4 r70112
Host: Mac OS X 10.6.6
Guest: Windows 7 Enterprise 32 bit

Sorry...I know this is odd, and may have nothing to do with VB at all, but...

I built my VM and got it all set up using a single local user account which I created as an admin (i.e. put it in the local 'Administrators' group).
Then, I put it into the Active Directory and blammo! ....now that local admin account has this oddball thing that happens....
When I log in as that user, I just get a black screen, and nothing else ever shows up.

I can do a Ctrl+Alt+Del and get to the security dialog, and then am able to log off.

Then, I am able to log in with my Active Directory admin account and everything works for that user just fine, but still can't log in with the original local account.

Then, while logged in with my Active Directory account, I created a new local account.
Then, I can log in with that new local account and everything works just fine, but still can't log in (or rather...just get the black screen thingy) with the original, local admin account.

Anyone have any idea what's going on there?

I suspect it may have nothing to do with VB at all, and I'm just encountering some goofiness with the AD, but I figured I'd check.

Thanks.

I doubt that it has anything to do with VirtualBox. It is more likely to be an Active Directory policy restriction.

Yep, it was an AD related issue, and nothing to do with VB.
Thanks.
