because i need a constant MAC address of hardware on the host to active the other software.
but the MAC will be changed when i reinstall the virtualbox
help me!

Hello,
Use "VBoxManage modifyvm <name> --macaddress<1-N> <mac without any ':' characters>

Or you back up the value and input it in the MAC address box using the GUI. VM Settings > Network | Advanced.

Notice that he's asking how to set the MAC address of the
host. This topic seems to be a cross posting - see
