USB devices greyed out

USB devices greyed out

4.04 running Win2k on Ubuntu 10.10.

In the manager it shows three active device filters.

In vb devices USB menu no devices are ticked and all are greyed.

What am i supposed to do to bring back the option to choose the usb devices?
