Hi, I am running virtualbox on a win2003 x64 host, and trying to create a new VM with win2008 x64 OS, but when I try to install the win2008 x64 on the guest, windows comes up and says that the CPU does not support x64 applications (even though the host is win2003 x64.
Any ideas as to what causes this.
thanks
carsten

Re: win2003 host, win2008 guest
To run 64-bit guests, your PCs CPU and BIOS must support hardware virtualization and it be enabled.
