Hi all.
I'm using Virtual Box 4.0.4 on Windows 7 with Windows 7 embedded VM
Accessing shared folders from an interactive GUI session works fine.
Accessing shared folders from a windows service, after a user has logged on also works.
But if a service runs without any user logging on, the shared folders aren't accessible.
I tried this also with UNC path (\\vboxsrv\<folder>) with the same results.

Re: Shared folders not accessible for non interactive sessions
From my experience, you need to check the following setting in the logon tab of the service:
"Allow service to interact with deskop"
This will give the service user network access but it will not be able to access mapped drives so you will need to use the UNC path.
