Hello,
Host - Windows 7. Guest - Windows XP and Debian. Network is configured as NAT. Guests can succesfully connect internet, for example: guest has internal ip: 10.0.2.15. But, why host is unable to connect this ip (10.0.2.15) ? Is this normal? How can I change configuration to make this possible?
There is no such problem using Vmware - even if network is set to nat mode, still host can succesfully connect to guest using its internal ip. So I'm sure this should be possible with virtualbox too.
Note that I need nat - setting network to bridged mode is impossible because of my isp network limitation (only one mac address per client is allowed)

Re: Host it unable to connect to guest
either configure VBox NAT port forwarding; or add a second virtual NIC of type "host-only" (NAT still needed for the guest outbound connect to the world)

This is not VMware; why do you expect things to be exactly the same?
