Hi guys,

I have some issues with Virtual Box and using SAP streams on VLC in Windows (Win7) OS. After installation of VBox on my windows; as you know that it add some layers to TCP stack;

The problem is that after Vbox installation, i cannot use SAP streams on VLC; I am watching television channels on VLC using SAP but after VBox installation, the SAP advertisements are not reached to VLC player or I don't they just don't work anymore.

As soon as uninstall VBox, SAP (tv channels) star working on VLC. Can anyone let me know whats going on? I want to use VBox but also don't want to lose my SAP streams.

This should be reported to bugtracker. You will need to setup an account there as it is on a different system.
It would also help if you can post the ticket number here so other can see the progress, add information, or see the final results. Don't forget to send the guests log file as an attachment so they can see the information that they need to know.

Hi Fahad, have you already solved the problem with SAP stream on VLC while running the Virtual Box? I have the same problem and cant find any solution. Thx for answer.

Hi tomas,

I am sorry for late reply. I haven't found any solution to the problem. I simply had to remove it in order for SAP streams to work.

I'm also having this issue. Did anyone report it to bugtracker?

Just installed virtual box this evening. After installing, streaming from my PC to my Xbox died, totally nuked the setting on the Xbox. Also, steaming to my apple tv from the PC cuts off about half way through. Seems anything streamed is having issues after installing virtual box.
I noticed while installing virtual box that the UAC in my win7 PC popped up about 4 times asking to ok files from oracle. Am hoping some solution can be made or will have to uninstall virtual box and try another virtual program. This happened on my win7 64 host installing Ubuntu 12.4 LTS 64 as guest. Didn't realize the TCP stack would be affected or see any mention of this in the instructions.

Disabling network adapter "VirtualBox Host-Only Network" helped me.

So, how do I continue to listen to some music channel and do my programming job that requires VirtualBox to run?
