Greetings,
I have virtualbox 4.0.2 installed on Ubuntu. I created a new virtual machine. Powered up the virtual machine and installed Windows 7 32bit home premium. In case it matters, Ubuntu is 64bit.
Logged into windows 7 after the install. Video was standard vga, and the image didn't match my monitor when I ran virtual machine full screen. Popped in the motherboard CD which contains the windows 7 video drivers. Tried installing the video driver and the video driver software says it can't find a driver to match my hardware. I downloaded the file from the motherboard manufacturers website and tried doing it from within the virtual machine (ie not using the host dvd drive). Same story.
Is there a trick to getting the correct video driver installed ?
any help greatly appreciated.
