Hi,
I've been running VBox for about 6 months now and it's working well as a Linux host with Linux and Windows guests. One thing I've been curious about is how to run, if possible, an existing Windows 7 installation on the hard drive in a Linux host. Is it possible?
I'm receiving a new laptop in a few days. It will run Linux. The Windows license for that machine will likely only install on that machine. I want to set up the Windows install native, using whatever the install process ends up being, keeping the disk usage small, then install Gentoo and use VBox-4 to run the existing Win 7. Is that possible?
If so, can someone point me toward some examples of how to get that going?
If it cannot be done then no big deal. I'll just blow it away.
Thanks,
Mark
