Control + up or down allows you to move a vm in the list

Re: Sorting virtual machines list
Problem is still actual.
Is there a way to sort the list of virtual machines in alphabetical order (either automatic or manual).

As mentioned above: you can sort the VM list manually by using ctrl-up / down.Problem is still actual.

Re: Sorting virtual machines list
I hated the alphabetical list. I am very pleased that you can now put them wherever you want.

Re: Sorting virtual machines list
It used to be sorted by name and like the original behavior as i maintain a lot of Linux distro and release.
Having an option to sort by name or as per xml entry sequence would be fantastic.

Re: Sorting virtual machines list
The option to sort by name still exists - except that you now do it manually. Since this only ever needs to be done once (or never, if you do it as each VM is created), I fail to see why you expect it to be automated.Techno.Scavenger wrote:Having an option to sort by name or as per xml entry sequence would be fantastic.
I expect that an upcoming version of the GIU will allow the VM list to be displayed hierarchically, in which case discussions about flat list sorting will be largely moot.
