Switched to EFI after installing Ubuntu
Hi I am new to all this with virtual box. I am trying to run a Ubuntu 10.10 (with all downloaded Updates). The issue I can not seem to figure out is how to boot into it after I switched the EFI setting on. I get to the shell screen and it lists the device mapping table and gives me a SHELL> command line. But from here I am unsure weather or not I will be able to use my already installed 10.10 or will I have to go through a process of reinstalling? If someone could shed some light it would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Switched to EFI after installing Ubuntu
If the Guest OS boots without EFI, leave it at that. EFI was added to support Mac OSX Server as Guest OS, but that only works on Mac hardware.
Just don't enable options if you have no idea what it does and if you get into an error, revert the changes. It's that simple.
