Hello,
Why does Windows 98 as guest on VirtualBox doesn't run smoothly? I mean, when you try to drag any window on guest system, it is a slideshow rather than a smoothly animation. I tried it on Microsoft Virtual PC and it runs perfectly there. Also, the VirtualPC doesn't take 100% of cpu time. How did they do it? Does their virtual machine exchanges the nop instructions to hlt?

Re: Windows 98 as guest doesn't run smoothly
Shortly: Win 98 runs, but its not supported.
Look into the tutorial sections, there are several hints for win98 like rain, bearvga, sb16.
But an xp guest is always the better choice than a crappy old dos-based os.
