Anyone had this (in any windows guest)? Vbox 3.1.2 Twice in the last month I have had inexplicable lock-ups in the SBS2003 guest. I notice it when client access to the guest's shared folders goes south, then I log into my host and see the hard drive "light" on the server guest full on red. I try to log into the server on the host or through RDP and get no response. I get no response sending ACPI power button from the machine menu. I have to kill the guest with Task Manager, then reboot the host to get everything running again. Nothing at all shows in the guest's event viewer when it reboots.
I have attached two logs, one (2011-02-05) with no problems, for comparison, and one (2011-02-07) for the session that crashed.
At the end of the 2011-02-07 log, at 58 hours 57 minutes of run time, the PIIX3 controller starts resetting. This doesn't happen in a normal run. This VM was launched at 3:21 AM Saturday from my host-reboot script. 58 hours 57 minutes later is about 2:18 PM Monday, when the problem with accessing the guest's shared folders first appeared.
Any thoughts?
