My other issue is I can't install Win XP on VB. Was cd I turned into .iso format and i don't know what went wrong...
I have real Win Xp Pro (2002) cd, legit, Ive successfully installed on a older comp, although I can't take pic because I have no webcam.
So on a Vista Home Premium Host the Guest would be Win Xp Pro but when I, make a fresh new Guest, with settings adjusted and fresh .vdi storage made for it. I figured VB can only run .iso files and I made an .iso file of Win Xp Pro (2002), testing to see if I can install it in VB as an image instead of bootable CD.
I power on the new guest, and of course selected the source as the .iso on my desktop on host. it boots up normally, shows EULA agreement, then starts loading all files as if it is going to install, then gets to the part 3 where it says press enter to continue installing XP Pro and I press enter, mind you still in bio like state on VB. then it comes up with bogus issue "this cd is not valid" and I know it's not running form cd it's running from .iso. So if Vista or Win7 can and have installed normal from an .iso Why not XP on VB?
I have 4gb DDR2 ram-
3.4ghz dual core cpu-
plenty of storage-
VB version I'm using is 3.2.6 r63112-
I'm welling to answer any extra question you might have to help me fix this problem with VB.
