OpenGL Issues with 4.0.2

I upgraded to 4.0.2 and began bumping the GuestAdditions up in my VMs. Looks like the new version of GuestAddition was 4.0.3. Anyway, all applications that use OpenGL crash after upgrading to the latest version. AutoCAD will not open, SketchUp will not open, and in XP guests, starting AutoCAD causes the VM to reset....instantly. Initially there was some hope, because AutoCAD popped up a balloon that it had updated its performance settings, and it was even showing the type of video card (Quadro FX4800) that the host system has installed, rather than the Virtualbox Graphics Adapter. This is something I'd been hoping to see for a long time. Unfortunately, AutoCAD crashed immediately after that, and would not start again.

I've been able to get the VMs running again by doing the following:
1. Uninstall the updated GuestAdditions from all VMs on this host.
2. Download GuestAdditions v3.2.6.
3. Replace the C:\Program Files\Oracle\VirtualBox\VBoxGuestAdditions.iso file with the downloaded version.
4. Restart the GUI and attach the Guest Additions
5. Install the older Guest Additions.

So far, so good. I had been having such good luck with VirtualBox, too. Oh well. Hopefully jumping back to stable GuestAdditions will be enough to keep my VMs rolling. I'm really looking forward to the day when the Direct3D and OpenGL support works as well as the rest of VirtualBox. I'm still a big fan of VirtualBox.

More upgrades these days are downgrades in disguise. If it ain't broke...

This seems to address issue I am having. But, it brings up two questions:

1. How do you uninstall Guest Additions? I have Googled this and found very little clear instructions.

2. Where do you get the download for Guest Additions 3.2.6? I have searched Downloads-->Older Builds with no luck.

1) you can use the add/remove programs in the control panel or if you go to the program list and VirtualBox there should be an uninstall there.
2) http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/ go to the version you want and download what ever addition you want. Remember though that this works for most versions, but some of the newer versions of VBox may not like the older GAs.
