Hi. My design program won't run on my new windows 7 home premium, so I've installed it on tinyxp in VB where the install went fine until the registration process. I have the cd key and the hardware lock with the updated driver, but the program says it "can't find hardware lock". Can anyone help me with this? Many thanks!

What type of hardware lock is it ? usb dongle ?
If so, have you attached the usb dongle in the virtual machine ? (in VM settings, USB, add a filter for your usb dongle).

I am having a similar issue. Host OS = Win 7 Home and guest = xp pro SP3. The XP Pro SP3 VM sees the hardware dongle in the device manager, but the software in the VM can not see it.

What did you do to fix your problem?

mrdma - on the toolbar at the top of the vm there is a drop down menu marked "usb" where I attach the hasp. I have to do this every time I open the vm. bonne chance...

Use filter in USB settings.

And for VBOX >= Version 4 install Extension Pack.
