There are windows binaries there, server and client, the concept outlines the use of tcpip and is not really bound to kvm so it should work with vbox and bridge mode as well.

Cpu and video sound ok, the jitter problem does not really sit there, its a timing issue from the slowest component, something as simple as an energy saving bios mode can cause jitter. There are so many variables here, for example with the ps3mediaserver on a VM you can get jitter streaming HD when tcpip sliding window is on, you need to disable this tuning mechanism and HD will stream faultless despite a 5% cpu load on the VM.

I use virtio(netkvm) from http://alt.fedoraproject.org/pub/alt/vi ... mages/bin/ for all windows guests (w2k and older use 5.0.209.605).
