Windows NT4 SP1 [RESOLVED]

Hi,

I have installed windows NT SP1 with virtual box (on a macbook).

My problems:
- I would like to switch to the SP6 version. But my internet connection works very very very slowly, or doesn't work at all.
- I could download it directly from my mac. BUT it's impossible to share a folder between the Host and the Guest. I searched in the connections stuff, in the config panel, in the networks, the shared files, etc. and now i'm lost.

So, if someone could help me to create a folder shared between my mac and my windows Nt .. please ..
I know that I can find an .iso file of the SP6 version (i didn't find it..) but in the future i will also need to share folders between my macbook HD and the virtual one.
I need to fix the two problems: the sp6 versions and the shared folders ...

Thanks for your help

A.K.

You need to fix the sp6 issue and then install the guest additions (in the guest) so you can use shared folders.
If you have the sp6 ISO you simply mount that in the guest settings and run it in the guest.
Other than that you would need to setup a network share between the host and the guest. To achieve the network share you need to be using Bridged mode if there is a router or you will need to use host-only.

Few ideas :

* Build an iso file with a cd burner software ou iso tool, include SP6 in this iso
* Use another VM where shared folders are fine (XP for example) to copy sp6 to a new harddisk, then attach this new harddidk to your NT VM

Ok, thank you very much !

I will try to find an ISO of the SP6, and install the guest addition, i hope it will work because XP is taking too much resources on my mac

thank you again
