What should I do?

I want to use VirtualBox with Ubuntu but it never works. I have Windows 7 64 bit but I have an Intel processor. And as a result, when I downloaded the 32 bit version it failed, and the 64 bit version failed too, telling me I have an Intel processor and not an AMD one which it wants me to have. Does anyone know what is going on????

IntelĀ® Virtualization Technology (VT-x) No
This means that you have a 64-bit processor but no VT-x/AMD-v (hardware virtualization)
You will need to install the 64-bit version of VirtualBox but you will not be able to run 64-bit guests since you do not have hardware virtualization.
Download the Windows multi-arch version of VirtualBox from here: http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualb ... 18-Win.exe

So which version of Ubuntu should I choose? It failed using the 32 bit version and it failed on the 64 bit version. I am using the 64 bit portable version of VirtualBox. :?:

We do not support portable VirtualBox.

What do you mean?

OK, so if I install the real version of VB, it should work?

Can I first ask 2 questions:

1. Which version of Ubuntu should I choose, and
2. Can I install Virtualbox to my memory card, and if not, can i install VB on my Hard Drive and have the virtual hard drive on my memory card?

Thank you for your help.

You install VirtualBox on the hosts Hard Drive, (link provided above) and yes you can set it up to store the guests on the external drive.
Thank you for your help.

It then proceeds to load normally, despite telling me there has been a "Fatal Error". What's happening?

You are seeing a false positive. It is a kernel message since it is not being run on metal, nothing to worry about.
