Hi everyone I have recently installed virtual box 4.0
I have Windows 7 guest o.s. and Ubuntu 10.10 host o.s.
I selected bridged network as networking mode
ubuntu receives an ip address like it's in the LAN like the host o.s. but i can't ping eth0 on ubuntu and i can't ping network adapter on windows
Do you know someone where is the problem?
thank you

Re: Problems with bridged network
You profile has Windows as host and Ubuntu as guest but you state the reverse here.
If the host is Windows check for firewall issues. If the host is Ubuntu then post the results of ifconfig -a from the Ubuntu terminal as well as ipconfig /all from the Windows command window.
