Hi everybody, I'm new in this Forum, and new i nvirtual box.
I work with virtual box at the factory and sometimes when I work at home.
I have a PC with virtual box at the factory and one with virtual box at home.
My problem is that every time that I work at home, I have to install the programs that I need in my virtual machine.
It can be possible to take an screenshoot of my factory PC and then save it in my house PC?

Re: Snapshots from a PC to another
Assuming the work VM was created with VBox V3 (or at least before v4), then the easiest thing is to copy the VDI to your home PC and create a new VM around it. You don't mention an OS - I'm assuming that your various software licenses allow what you want to do. A Windows image for example may require reactivation before it works at home, and that potentially gives you licensing issues with the work copy - and so on.
If the VM was created by VBox v4 then porting would be much easier.
