Hi
I've found VirtualBox works much better on an old PC and gives much more functionality than the equivalent Microsoft offerings but noted when installing a license should be purchased for 'Enterprise Use'.
Does this include using VirtualBox as a virtualisation platform during the testing of 3rd party software as some companies provide this functionality free of charge and require licenses when adding extra modules or support.
A developer at work has tried to enquired about buying licenses from Oracle but has not received any information on prices, etc and I was wondering whether they are even needed? If so I will push the issue and try new avenues of contact but if not then it would be a real help to a couple of us testers.
Thanks
Does 'Enterprise Use' include Software Testing?

Section 6 of http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Licensing_FAQ pretty much describes your particular situation and says that's OK.

That's brilliant thanks for the pointer.
I'd been looking in the actual license T&Cs and pretty much everywhere other than there so thanks for that, that's going to save me and a colleague from a huge headache!
