BSOD Plugging in USB HDU

Hi All,
After upgrading to VB 4.0.0 when I plug in my external USB HDU and a virtual machine is running, my Windows XP Host system goes in Blue Screen of Death.
The message displayed is:
IO SYSTEM VERIFICATION ERROR
VBoxUSBMon.sys (WDM DRIVER ERROR 123)
[VBoxUSBMon.sys+5B0 at B81A85B0

After this the PC is not able to save the system state and I can only switch off.

I upgraded VB to 4.0.2 and I also upgraded "Oracle VM Virtualbox Extensions to 4.0.2r69518 without results.
