if i use rdesktop (rdp) to connect to virtualbox guest, how to record audio? rdp seems to not support recording but some of the posts in this forum said ok.

VB allows Host microphone to be passed to the VM, so you can record it. But if you use RDP, that's a whole different story. From the settings of the RDP client, I only see options to get the audio that is played on the remote machine to be played on the client side. Or to bring the microphone to the server side. With that, I'd say recording audio through RDP is impossible, VB or not.

did not try that, but you should be able to pass a USB sound card, or USB microphone e.g. Samson via VBox VRDP
