creating a GFS lvm betwen 2 rhel clustered nodes

I'd like to create a vg with a GFS lvm and use it in a 2 nodes rhel cluster. I would have thought that using the same virtualbox "disk file" (I use a windows host, the guest are rhel5 ) on each node would simulate a san... but the "disk file" seemss locked ounce the first node is started... the second one won't start with an error. There's 2 disk per nodes, one for the OS and such and a second one that use the same "disk file" on each node. That "shared" disk is not initiallized as GFS type yet (fdisk), and I intended to do that ounce both nodes are up.
The solution would be for virtualbox to allow to unlock the disk, is there a solution?
Thanks
Pierre
