linux rdesktop to vrdp remote Windows Guest CTRL-ALT-DEL

I have VirtualBox 4.0.2 OSE with Oracle Extpack enabled, running on a Gentoo Linux system, running a Windows XP Pro VM.
I have configured the Windows VM to have VRDP enabled.
I use linux 'rdesktop' to access the VM, from another Gentoo machine.
How in blazes to I send ctrl-alt-del to login?
I have tried
- ctrl-alt-ins
- host-del
- host-ins
- ctrl-alt-esc
and just about every other key combination I can think of.

I can walk over to the Host Gentoo system, press host-del on the VM, then walk back to the VRDP session and resume logging in.

Any suggestions?

I have tried ctrl-alt-(just about every key on the keyboard), using both left and right ctrl-alt

Sigh. I have my home computer setup so that ctrl-alt-del causes the kernel to shutdown.
At work, I don't.
I got desperate and actually hit ctrl-alt-del on the work computer and it was sent to the remote machine.

sigh...

So, I simply press ctrl-alt-del to send it to the remote machine, not ctrl-alt-end or host-del, or any other variation, when using 'rdesktop' on a linux machine.

Sorry but combination CTRL+ALT+DELETE or ALT+CTRL+END or any other combination don't WORK.

Old post to get resurrected, but still a common problem. The usual Ctrl-Alt combos suggested don't always work.
I find that when I type Shift 5 times in a row, a window pops up from the Windows guest asking if I want to use Sticky Keys, I type Enter to accept.
Then I can type Ctrl by itself, then Alt by itself, then Delete by itself, and the remote-desktop guest sees a usual Ctrl-Alt-Delete and opens the login screen.
The host OS does not see or respond to the Sticky-Keys Ctrl-Alt-Del.

Shift 5 times, Enter in the Sticky-Keys popup, Ctrl down & release, Alt down & release, Delete down & release = Ctrl-Alt-Del
