Hi everyone,
I've searched for this same problem on this forum and google, but no luck, it seems my problem is quite unique.
I installed Windows 7 64-bit, downloaded VB 4.0.0 and installed it, downloaded Linux Mint (and then Lubuntu) and tried to install it in VB, but the installation doesn't move ahead. vmliuz and initrd.lz are loaded in the very beginning of the installation, and below that it says Ready, and then nothing happens. Not sure what to do, any help would be greatly appreciated.

See if it produces a guest log file and post that (as an attachment)

Re: Install of Linux Mint stops
Hi perry, I looked through the site's FAQ and didn't find anything about how to post attachments. Can you please help? Or I can post the entire log here as code?

I don't see anything just pop out and say fix me in the log file.
Check to make sure that you have hardware-v turned on in your PCs bios.
Also that VT-x/AMD-v is sellected as well as IO APIC.
Another thing to check is the Motherboard chipset. If it is set to ICH9 change it to PIIX3

That's odd. I was just able to install PCLinuxOS 32-bit.
