Hi,
I am setting up a openSUSE 11.2 install in vBox. Everything installed fine and ran fine following the installation. I then tried to install the Guest Additions for Linux via "install guest additions" from the device menu. I installed VBoxLinuxAdditions.run from bash and everything seemed to work. So, I restarted the VM and was greeted with a beautiful widescreen login screen - awesome! Except one problem - the keyboard doesn't work for me to type in my password.
I restarted, selected fail-safe from GRUB and the keyboard worked fine - so I went in and changed to auto-login. Restarted and it logged in fine but still no keyboard in gnome. I tried messing with the settings in control center but nothing seems to work. Any thoughts?
