Can you import from an existing hard installation

Post by mconnor »

I have an existing Windows 3.11 installation on a harddrive inwhich I would like to run existing applications.
From what I see in the documentation, though VirtualBox I would have to create a new Windows installation and then install the applications.
The original PC has failed and due to the media (5 1/4 floppies & my Dell PC does not support floppies at all), there is no way to create a new install.
Is there any way to "import" or copy the existing harddrive diretcly into a VirtualBox installation rather than "create" through VirtualBox?

Search for P2V (use google with site:forums.virtualbox.org as internal search doesn't like 3 letter words). Some of the advice you see may not apply to you because the system you're trying to copy is so old.
