Host machine: GA-EP35-DS3P motherboard with Intel E6750 Processor. VT-x enabled in bios.
8 GB ram, SATA 3 hard drives.
OS: Snow leopard
VB 3.2.12
This machine prior to it's incarnation as a Hackintosh ran Fedora 10. Under that OS, VB worked well.
Under the regime of the new OS, it doesn't work worth spit. A start up/shutdown of a fresh windows guest (10 GB disk, 1 GB ram, 16M vidio) takes 4 minutes.
I've been unable to find out much on decoding log files. I've attached the log of the most recent start/stop.
Note that I've also tried this using two different linux distributions. Similar slow response.
Ideas?
