I am running the latest virtual box 4.0 with the guest additions and cannot seem to get Windows XP Pro to recognize the number pad from the factory mac slim 101 keyboard.

There is no "number lock" to tell the guest that it is using a keyboard with a separate numeric keypad. I looked in the control panel and it recognizes a Standard 101/102 Key keyboard.
